Dear Friends and Supporters,

As we approach the 5th anniversary of September 11th, I am truly inspired by the ongoing support of our efforts. People from across the country have not forgotten the victims or the survivors of 9/11. We have come far in our efforts to remember by name those who perished that day.
Our progress can be seen at: < >.

We are please to announce that after 3 years we have finally gotten the permits from the City of New York to hold a 9/11 Memorial Field in Manhattan. Eight Million New Yorkers endured and were profoundly changed by the events of 9/11. They have never been acknowledged. The NYC 9/11 Memorial Field and the Flag of Honor Fund are dedicated to the remembrance of those who survived the tragic events as well as those who perished.

This year, for the first time, NYC will play host to the NYC 9/11 Memorial Field - an event for the 8 million New Yorkers who lived through the life changing tragedy and its aftermath. Never have all the people of NYC had the opportunity to gather together, at an appropriate venue, to commemorate the death, the life, the stories and the heroism of that fateful day. The Memorial Field and the weekend ceremonies surrounding it, is that place.

The NYC 9/11 Memorial Field stems from the conviction that this was unquestionably the most defining moment of our lives. It should be observed with the significance that it merits. To make this happen, we need to raise $150,000 for the Field and events surrounding it. Perhaps you know a company or individual that can help.

< > is the link to the Sponsor Request booklet outlining the field and the event. Please pass this booklet to every person and company that you think can possibly help. You effort now, as in the past, will make a difference.
Thank you.

Lastly, but most importantly, we would like to ask from you that you please forward the Flag of Honor/Flag of Heroes website to as many people as you can. If each of us sends it to just a few people, it will make a tremendous difference in our effort to continue our remembrance project throughout the country and the world.

On behalf of Laurent, Oliver and myself here at the Flag of Honor/Flag of Heroes Project, thank you for your letters, photos, encouragement, support and friendship during this past year.
